Hostile Environment Training
This is a highly practical course covers a broad range of topics in detail. It is aimed at developing self-sufficient news teams that are able to operate independently in the most challenging conditions.
The course has a strong emphasis on first aid and life-saving trauma management techniques as well as detailed instruction in working with military units, employing local drivers and contacts, recognising hazardous munitions, responding to riots and crowd violence, planning journeys in remote areas, communications, navigation, support and response plans, equipment use and maintenance.
The course is taught with a hands-on approach, by experienced instructors, and includes a number of memorable and practical outdoor lessons and exercises.
